Corrigan Bentley Executive is proud to announce that Mike Jones has become a company director and shareholder after five years of dedication and hard work at the company.
Company Managing Director Ben Freeman announced “It gives me great pleasure to acknowledge and reward years of contribution from one of our own – Mike Jones. Mike has consistently delivered an extraordinary level of service to clients and candidates, together with the dedicated development and leadership of his team here at Corrigan Bentley. Mike has been promoted to Director and in addition becomes our 5th ‘employee’ shareholder. Congratulations Mike and I look forward to many more years working with you.”
Mike started with CB in May 2011 as a junior consultant working in the HVAC area of the business. After gaining some experience he moved to our technical desk working alongside another of the company directors where he expanded his knowledge further of how the recruitment world works. After six months in the business Mike moved to the lighting and electrical division where he spent the next four years nurturing his skills, going from a trainee to senior consultant whilst working and learning from lighting director John Wood. John said “Mike developed rapidly during his time with me, he always listened to advice and soaked up any information he was given. He showed great talent from day one and was someone I knew was destined to be on the board.”
On being made director and shareholder in April 2016 Mike said “Being a part of such a progressive business is a real pleasure, to now be a shareholder in Corrigan Bentley Executive is a career ambition realised. This is my 6th year at the company and I’ve enjoyed every milestone, from my start as a Junior Consultant on the HVAC desk to managing a team of consultants in the lighting and electrical markets. I couldn’t have achieved what I set out to do though without the support and development from my peers – fortunately we have always had a business model focused on organic development and growth rather than hiring external expertise so the company has always had opportunity for aspiring individuals.
We’re now underway with the next phase of our progress with structured training plans for each of our consultants that is bespoke and unique to each as a continued commitment to their improvement. I’m incredibly proud of the intelligent, consultative and conscientious professionals that make up our team and I am confident that we represent the very best service in the building technologies and freight industries.”
Today Mike is an extremely valued member of the Corrigan Bentley family, he leads his team to success each quarter whilst also finding the time to excel in any task that he takes on for the business, each time giving his all.
