National Key Account Manager

As a result of ambitious change within a leading multidisciplinary manufacturer, we are currently searching for a National Key Account Manager to lead sales efforts with a number of key distributor partners. Our client has offices throughout the UK and truly global coverage for distribution and specification markets. They have become a name synonymous with pioneering technology for the electrical industry and developing some of the most diverse and inspiring talents.

Having built a successful team focused on the electrical distributor/wholesaler market and created long-standing partnerships with many of the leading partner brands, they’re now looking to add a highly-skilled National Key Account Manager to head sales with one of their key wholesalers and mentor some other members of the team. Because of the scope of the position, you’ll get to negotiate commercial frameworks at head office level and develop business relationships at all levels throughout an integral account for our client.

You’ll need to have experience in managing electrical wholesalers at a national level or similar experience with other types of distributor and comfortable with multi-million-pound target responsibility. You’ll be tenacious, a competent negotiator and able to navigate the boisterous electrical distributor market with a familiar list of contacts. Ideally, we’re looking to talk with candidates that are centrally located to have balanced access across the UK with the relevant experience to be able to take on mentoring responsibilities if it appeals.
