An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious candidate with a background in international business development to join a successful entrepreneurial business with a strong UK brand and a fast-growing international presence.

Reporting to the International Sales Director, your goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through identifying new opportunities, forging strong, long term relationships with clients and winning new projects.
We are seeking an individual with several years’ business development experience in an international context.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As part of your responsibilities you will need to develop the pipeline of international business within your target market (researching and identifying new leads and potential new markets), develop sales objectives, quotes and proposals ensuring these are achievable; keep up to date with industry and market trends as you will become the expert for the company in this area; foster positive and profitable relationships with existing (and new) clients; be able to pitch and negotiate confidently. In addition you may be required to attend conferences and industry event on occasion.
You will not be expected to hit the ground running, there is an existing book of business c.£2m to get your head around first and start account managing first.
The role will predominantly be based at our London office but international travel will be expected every 3-4 weeks.
