Area Sales Engineer
We have a current requirement for an Area Sales Engineer to join a well established, specifier & trade friendly lighting manufacturer. With relationships across both wholesaler & project sectors already built, our client is seeking to appoint an experienced lighting sales professional who can nurture these accounts and then business develop in other growth areas. With a great range of products and the agility to design and manufacturer bespoke products within realistic timescales of 14 days, the company is in a strong position now to continue the development they have enjoyed after the last few years.
- Experience in selling to consultant & contractor channels as well as fulfilling sales through nominated distribution partners
- Knowledge of industry is essential, including up to date understanding of LED lighting technology
- Ability to work under pressure and against time restraints of project work including managing pipeline
- Confident communicator at all stages of a process, from initial design/concept stage through to completion and handover of project
- Influential sales professional who can negotiate at boardroom level if required
- Able to work autonomously without need for coaching or micromanagement
