Working closely with their internal team, the role will be for both managing the planning and delivery of new furniture installations & the pitching, quoting and management of moves/relocation packages. This position is pivotal in supporting the pitch team when taking the brief and subsequently pitching to clients, often having to provide ‘on the spot’ solutions. [The Account Manager may also be required to source new business outside of the area and managing these relationships]. Principal activities will include Client handovers, checking off orders, building and managing the programme and then delivering the order to maximise efficiency, whilst protecting and building upon the companies reputation. The Account Manager position is also responsible for developing new business (internally) within the Group and then managing these relationships.
Duties will include; making a sample mock up, putting together quotes, learn how to effectively cold call new clients, go to tender meetings with the client and sales rep, support the sales rep throughout the project, process orders, learn product ranges, visit the project site to ensure the project has been delivered successfully, help with any snags or problems and over time running some of the smaller projects from start to finish.
