Principal Commercial Officer

Principal Commercial Officer/Contracts Officer

Would you like to work for a world Leader in Engineering and Manufacturing? Our client is now looking for a Principal Commercial Officer for a permanent position based in West London
COMPANY

ROLE
+Assisting with commercially administering a number of Contracts with the UK MoD, other prime contracting companies, and both government and commercial organisations overseas including assisting with the submission of change proposals, attendance at QPM’s and other meetings with customers, keeping the MRP system up to date invoicing, and shipping
+Submitting quotations to various prospective customers both in the UK and overseas including, where applicable, completing appropriate statements of compliance
+Liaison with other departments within Ultra to ensure compliance with customer’s enquiries
+Liaison with customers to translate quotations in to orders
+Assisting Project Managers to deliver projects in a cost effective manner
+Attending meetings with customers and sub-contractors on an as required basis both in the UK and, possibly, overseas
+Preparing regular management reports on the status of orders
+Negotiating Non Disclosure Agreements using the divisional template
+Assisting the Head of Commercial to develop the Commercial Departments processes to deliver a better service to the division

CANDIDATE
+Experience required of managing multiple contracts from receipt by the company through to final shipment and payment. Responsibilities include writing and negotiating contract and sub-contract amendments, ensuring company compliance with contractual terms and conditions, and order processing, raising sales invoices, organising shipments to both UK and export destinations.
+Relevant experience acquired within a Commercial or Contracts Department required,
+Sales administration experience with both UK and export contracts required,
+Educated to degree level or equivalent,
+Ability to communicate and work efficiently in a busy office environment,
+Working knowledge of Word 2000, Excel, and e-mail,
+Previous experience of working with MRP system.

Commercial Manager

Our client a leading independent defence company boasts a worldwide reputation for engineering excellence with a renowned and diverse portfolio spanning almost a century we now have a position for a Commercial Account Manager.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager the Role of Commercial Account Manager Engineer will be:


The provision of commercial expertise in the areas of quotation, negotiation and contract administration;

The focal point for professional contract management; and Provision of statistical and analytical reports.

Applicants will be tertiary educated with experience in a commercially orientated environment. Skills in analytical/problem solving and the ability to handle several issues in parallel are required along with numerical skills and an ability to express self verbally and in the written word.
 
£25-55K dependant on experience
