Regional Specification Sales Manager / Hot Water Systems / South

Location: Southern UK

An exciting role as Regional Specification Sales Manager within a current UK Heating Systems market leader.  Reporting directly to the National Specification Sales Manager, your role will be to achieve continued expansion in the commercial/non residential sectors of the market place, maintaining existing and developing new customers whilst promoting the full portfolio of products (solar thermal, cylinders/calorifiers, heat pumps ) into specifiers, M & E contractors, M & E consultants, architects and non residential projects.


In more detail the role involves maintaining and developing a computerised customer and prospect database, planning and executing direct marketing activities (principally direct mail) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales, responding  to and following up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits, attending training in order to develop relevant knowledge and skills and liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.


The candidate will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. An empathic communicator and able to see things from the other person's point of view. Well presented and businesslike. You will need to be sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel within the UK. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability and must be able to get on with others and work in a team.

Regional Sales Manager / Heating Systems / South West

Location: South West

An exciting role as Regional Sales Manager with a current UK Heating market leader.  The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of new and existing customers within their assigned regions.


 The main objective for the role is to develop relationships at all levels within the customer base to ensure that product specifications are developed, maintained and expanded in line with the company’s overall strategy.


Other responsibilities include identifying the key contacts within the targeted market segments, developing relationships with the relevant key personnel within the distributor base, developing sales to ensure products are pulled through the distribution network by building good working relationships with the contractors at all levels, fulfilling and reporting to the Key Account Manager the requirements of the tasks/initiatives as directed, maintaining and updating the company’s C.R.M/project tracking system as specified by the company.


The ideal candidate will have a Commercial merchant or plumbing background, be passionate about their industry but sales orientated, a charismatic and friendly character, focused but cheerful attitude and  will hold qualifications within Underfloor Heating or Mechanical Engineering (ideally HNC or degree qualified)
