Location: Surrey

We are now looking for a BMS sales support engineer who will get involved in system estimating primarily with the secondary roles of internal sales support and some minor works project management.

Some interest in Building Automation and Controls would be beneficial, along with knowledge of HVAC systems and the principals of mechanical and electrical engineering. Ideally suit possibly a younger person with aspirations of becoming a project engineer, commissioning engineer or senior estimator in the field of building controls. Good idea of how boilers, pumps, chillers, Air Handling Units, heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, CHP, solar energy, geothermal, wind turbines, biomass systems etc work to understand the process of how to control it all.

With training, we would expect the candidate to be able to look at a specification & drawings or a report, produce a controls point schedule, ask questions about the design, choose the controls (Trend/Honeywell/Tridium), price the controls, ancillaries, commissioning, pre-lims, panels (built by us) wiring, (done by us) and present a full technical quotation for delivery by the Sales person.

£25K - £35K depending on experience + Benefits

The role of Projects Sales Executive is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team focused on the sale of building systems installation packages. We are particularly interested in people experienced in selling Integrated Solutions including BMS (Building Management Systems) solutions, Security and have a successful recent history in these areas both technically and geographically.
The successful candidate will have:
• A proven track record of sales.
• Sales experience in a similar role within the BMS installation market.
• A diploma in business or engineering.
• A good knowledge and understanding of BMS is essential
• Ability to develop lasting working relationships with Customers
• Ability to work as part of a team
